The Reading Room is a tarot membership for the moment after you pick up the deck. It’s where we slow down, get curious, learn the cards, and practice making meaning from what we see. You don’t need to memorize 78 perfect definitions before you belong here.

Whether you’re brand new to tarot or ready to deepen a practice you already have, pull up a chair. There’s room for your questions, your perspective, and the way you read.

What happens inside The Reading Room?

Each month, we make space to study, practice, and connect through:

  • A monthly tarot class to explore the cards and develop your reading skills
  • A community card pull to reflect together and see how different readers approach the same prompt
  • Tarot study and practice so you can move beyond collecting information and actually use it
  • A member community where you can share questions, insights, and those “wait, I think I get it” moments
  • Priority access to Tea + Tarot spots when we gather in person

You’ll also find Reading Room material in the member portal, so you can return to the lessons and keep practicing at your own pace.

You are allowed to have a first impression

One of my favorite parts of teaching tarot is watching someone look at a card and notice something I never would have pointed out. That observation is where a reading begins.

In The Reading Room, we learn traditional meanings, symbolism, and the stories woven through the deck. We also practice asking: What do I see? What does this bring up? How does it speak to the question in front of me?

The goal is to help you build a relationship with tarot that feels informed, intuitive, and your own.

  • You’ve been reading for a while and want fresh ways to engage with the cards.

You can arrive with a brand-new deck, a well-loved one, or a notebook full of questions.

How we learn together

Some months, we might linger with a single card. Other times, we’ll explore a group of cards, try a spread, compare interpretations, or follow a theme through the deck.

We’ll make space for the meaning printed in the guidebook and the meaning that emerges when you sit with the imagery and the question. You’ll be invited to participate, experiment, and share, but you can learn at your own pace. Listening closely counts as practice, too.
